Did you know there will be a question on the November election ballot to eliminate the State Income Tax? Some people might think this sounds good but without State Income Taxes we will lose funding for programs EVERYONE needs including but in no way limited to: Public Education, Public Safety, Repairs for our roadways, Community and State Colleges and Universities. Not only will we lose funding, we will surely see an increase in other taxes and fees. We must organize and educate people about why this is a bad idea. Come to this meeting to learn more about why itâ€TMs bad and what our taxes really pay for. This question was on the ballot 4 years ago and nearly won. If you think the state budget is bad now, imagine what cuts weâ€TMd be facing without state income taxes as part of the budget.
