COPE Political Education Roundtable

Thursday February 21stat 1:30 PM!

at the Massachusetts Archives Building

right next to UMASS/Boston and the JFK Library in Dorchester

Join fellow politically active brothers and sisters from the Massachusetts Labor Movement in a discussion on the present and future of labor's political program in the Commonwealth.

This month we'll be joined by some of Senator Clinton's senior Presidential campaign staffers, including Roger Lau, her Massachusetts Campaign Manager.  A senior staffer of Senator Obama's campaign will also attend. Presidential pollster Brad Bannon will be there to talk about this year's exciting election.  We will also be taking this opportunity to kick-of Labor 2008 and our Coordinated Campaign with the New Hampshire AFL-CIO.

The Political Education Roundtable will be held once a month on the third Thursday of the month throughout the year. Your attendance at this meeting will mean a lot to its success. If you have any questions, feel free to call Robert Bower, Political Director, at (781) 324-8230.

ADDENDUM: We will be having our Massachusetts/New Hampshire Coordinators Kick-off Meeting prior to this month's Political Roundtable, at Noon on Thursday February 21st in the Archives Building.  We'll be discussing the critical role our unions here in Mass. will have in mobilizing our members who live and vote in New Hampshire, and how we are about to hit the ground running.

Lunch will be served.
