Workers' Rights Watch: Eye on the NLRB - September 21, 2007
Last week, we helped break the news that the NLRB, once again, found Wal-Mart guilty of unionbusting. A great, in-depth feature published last week by the Las Vegas Sun details how the current labor law system is badly broken. The article connects the dots between a weak law, a handicapped agency, and a lawless employer - in this instance Wal-Mart.
We couldn't have told the story better ourselves!
We also decided to raise attention to labor law's failures through commentary published on The Huffington Post. There we compare the swift and severe punishment handed down to the NFL's New England Patriots to the incredibly weak and delayed punishment against Wal-Mart for unionbusting by the NLRB.
We encourage you to read both pieces and pass them on:

P.S. As always, find more information about the NLRB and its failures to protect workers' rights, here.
