Barney Frank Works for Health Care Bill of Rights

On July 28, 2003 USWA Local 1357 met with US Representative Barney Frank, D-Mass, to present him with the petition for the Steelworkers Health Care Bill of Rights. Rep. Frank said he would support the Steelworkers and bring the signatures back to Washington. He also said he believes the answer to the health care crisis is Universal Health Care.

Barney Frank has spoken at many Legislative Breakfasts and worker rallies attended by Street Heat and has proven to be a friend of labor.
